  By Britney Trigg

Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. We’ve already taken a look at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada for your perfect date, so now let’s travel to the city that never sleeps for a look at some of the best Valentine’s Day prefix menu options for all of you foodie couples. New York City promises to offer some of the finest cuisine to ever meet your palette and today you’re in for a wonderful treat! Come along with me as we take a look at 3 of the most popular fine dining restaurants offering you a sultry Valentine’s Day treat. Grab a glass of wine and let’s indulge!
First up on my list, is the two Michelin star awarded Marea Ristorante, which is located in one of Manhattans most storied addresses in Central Park. This gem features Chef Michael White’s ode to Italian seafood which redefines the seascape of high end cuisine. Whether it’s his trademark hand pastas, fresh crudo or whole fish dishes handcrafted to perfection with a fresh presentation, Chef White is whole heartedly committed to reinventing the notion of seafood in the city. For Valentines Day Marea will be offering a 4 course Prix-fix menu that will offer guests 4 options per course. ($175 per person)
Marea – New York, NY
Next up, also by world renowned chef Michael White and the altamarea group, is the Zagat ranked best restaurant Ai Fiori. Located in Langham Palace, AI Fiori is by far one of the most exquisite places to eat for French Cuisine. It is Michelin star rated as well so be prepared for a one of a kind exquisite modern treat. Celebrating cuisine from the French Riviera, the menu blends traditional Italian fare with a brave modern perspective. From the sweeping spiral staircase to the Carrara marble bar and lounge furnished with silvery tufted banquettes, this elegant dining option is perfect for a date for two. This Valentine’s Day Ai Fiori will be featuring a six course meal with the option to add a wine pairing. Absolutely delectable!  ($210 per person)
Last but definitely not least, I would absolutely have to recommend Robert which is a modern American restaurant  housed within the Museum of the Arts and Design that offers some of the most breathtaking and monumental views of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Chef Gonzalo Colin celebrates fine American fare in a modern and quirky atmosphere. Bring your date and be seated in the lounge next to a baby grand piano in the beautifully designed modern dining room where you often will be serenaded with live jazz making love to your ears. While the menu is a bit pricey, this elegant sexy and romantic culinary delight proves to be an amazing choice for your Valentine’s Day rendezvous. Offering a mesmorizing 3 course prix-fixe meal, the plating and food presentation alone is sure to wow you.
Now that we have taken a look into 3 of the best places to wine and dine that special somebody, which will it be ? The choice is yours!
